Thomas E. Van Roten

Thomas E. Van Roten is an associate attorney practicing in the areas of general business and corporate law, and estate planning and administration.

His general business and corporation law practice includes entity selection and formation, addressing issues of corporate governance, taxation, partnership agreements, stockholder agreements, operating agreements, and buy-sell agreements.

His trusts and estates experience includes the planning and review of estate and succession plans for clients at all levels.

Mr. Van Roten is admitted to practice law in Connecticut.

Mr. Van Roten received his B.A. degree in Classics, from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and his J.D. degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law and received a certificate in Tax Studies. In addition, Mr. Van Roten served as an Executive Editor for the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal.

Mr. Van Roten is a member of the Business Law and Tax Law Sections of the Connecticut Bar Association. Mr. Van Roten is also a member of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association.
